I’ve just joined. I have an Arctic White/Red leather 2010 E89 3.0 M-Sport which I have had for 5 years now.
I would love to have cruise control fitted but it worries me a lot about getting a quality item.
I would get my garage to fit it. Which is the best to get? I have Auto Wipers which I think makes a difference.
How long would it take a professional to fit and do they come with very clear instructions?
I can see that there is a lot on here but I’m even more confused! So apologies!!
As above, your average garage won't have a clue, a dealer just won't entertain it full stop, so you have three choices, find a specialist BMW garage, do the job yourself or come and see me and I'll sort it for you
I can offer supply, fit and coding for £130 (£180 if you have a heated steering wheel). I use genuine used parts that are fully cleaned prior to fitting and are coded in using BMW software. I also have a 100% success rate.
Please be aware though this is all original except that I don't change the speedo cluster, so you don't have the LED's around the speedo showing the cruise set point. I can have this done though but it would be another £200 on top part availability depending. Saying that all of the c.400 retrofits I've already done haven't had the speedo cluster changed and it doesn't affect it at all.

Hope that helps

Hello, are you still doing z4 e89 cruise control retrofits? You did one for me about 3 yrs ago which i was very pleased with. Now looking to get another z4 which will probably need cruise fitted again.

I'd also be fairly keen on getting a quick cruise control retrofit done mr Anubis ! I have none of the parts ready to go but sounds like you both supply and fit? :)
