Just back having covered 1850 miles in France. Went via Eurotunnel brilliant going but 2.5 hrs wait coming back mostly queuing for passport control (Brexit dont you love it!) Car was faultless went to Rheims,Sarlsdat,Digon,Samur,Troyes and Aimiens, great roads very quiet as stayed off the tollroads so stunnigs scenery. Achieved 38.7 not bad for a 3.0 si just as well as French petrol more expensive than here. As a tourer E89 fitted the bill and had much open top motoring.

Brilliant! Sounds like an exciting trip. Agree it’s a great tourer so long as you pack light (thread on here does help with packing tips, which we’ve used!). Assume you’re not on RFTs,’or you’re not on 19” alloys? Our E89 is a far more pleasant ride on non-runflats. Recently took it on a road trip across southern Britain (not anywhere near your mileage). Would be great to see some scenery pics…

Just as well you got back when you did. Not safe over there at the minute

Indeed. Mostly instigated by posts on 'le visagebook' no doubt!
