Hi all.
I have a couple of paint scuffs on my wheels inch or two on the fronts.
I was going to try the Halfords isopon silver stuff and some matching wheel paint.
Anyone tried it or have any suggestions? I have standard 19" wheels on it.
As profile.

Any thoughts . Thanks

Yep it's good stuff!
Hard as nails in about 15 minutes. Just take your time, don't put too much on or you have to sand more back.

If you have scuffs around the outer edges, there is a neat trick to painting. Use a set of playing cards. These will sit nicely between the wheel and tyre, saves an awful lot of masking. Got this tip from someone on here and it is a brilliant idea.

BMW titanium silver from Halfords is an almost identical match to the original aswell. Much cheaper than having the right code mixed.

Isopon is brilliant. Moulds like putty and dries rock hard but files/sands easily. Make sure you sand down very fine and use a primer before painting and you should get great results. My top tip is don’t apply lacquer if it’s cold or damp, if necessary bring your wheels indoors and get up to house temperature.

Yes I mucked up my front lower wing/bumper that I repaired, sprayed and lacquered then went for a drive to the beach. I thought 1hr would be enough, it wasn't. Idiot :headbang:

It's close, but I sprayed all the wheels so difficult to say. For the cost difference it will be cheaper (although a bit more work) to spray all four completely.

Even if you part spray with the 'decor silver II' specific code paint, you will probably still see the difference, unless you are professional sprayer and have all the gear.

Is that the correct paint for the 2016 326M wheels ?

Decor silver 2?

May as well have my paint shop make a can for Β£12 if I know the code
