What was the outcome, please?

They’ve replaced the battery which it definitely needed. One of the sensors they cleaned and the other needs replacing which they’ll do next week. All the lights are still on so won’t know until next week for sure that it’s ok.

They’ve replaced the other ABS sensor and lights seem to be ok now. Crazy how the ABS sensor can cause so many lights to go on incl the engine light!

Not really…the speed of the car and the relative speed of each wheel is an input to so many other sub systems..so failures there can have far reaching impacts…

great news, . what i have learned is that there is a lot all connected and if one thing goes a lot of other things report errors. You should see what the faulty DSC module did to my dashboard, Blackpool illuminations springs to mind.

I'm not really v technical so that's interesting to know. Why the engine light as that one slightly scared me.

It's not really an engine light.

It's a "something is wrong" light.

Mmm ... my 'little difficulty', posted elsewhere, began with the rear wheels stuck in mud and me only able to extricate them by revving hard and slewing the car out like a speedway bike. Heaven knows what the ABS thought of that.
