'extended storage' so you should have the coin holder drawer aswell.
I have "Extended storage package". Where is this coin holder drawer you talk about ? Only had car 5 plus years, discovered no hiden drawer ? :?

Little 'drawer' right of steering wheel just above where your right knee would normally be in dashboard. It's not big and easily missed as it is virtually useless!

The coin holder drawer is just to the right below the steering wheel

JakeS76 wrote: Sat Mar 02, 2024 4:50 pm Can you adjust the bonnet /hood catches? The bonnet shuts fine and stays shut while driving. But one side feels slightly high so I can press down on it a few mm.
Are you sure it’s actually shut properly? It’s best to press the bonnet down with a hand to either side & not just in the middle, it’s possible you only have one bonnet latch closed.

Yes I believe that is the correct part number - It's the one I wrote down from a previous thread anyway

The roof breaks and so do the wheels. I guess you have already picked up on that. BMW's are not that reliable.

I found these 2 screws loose in the bottom right compartment of the foam cradle for the hydraulic roof pump.
Looking at real OEM parts diagram I think the screws are part no. 14 which secure part no.8.

Is part no.8 under the boot floor by the rear light and is it hard to access?
Or there is another parts diagram on eBay which suggests that part no.,8 sits on top of the hydraulic roof pump but is this wrong? I've attached both parts diagrams. eBay first and realoem second.

Are your sure that they are not just plain old number plate securing screws? So yellow back, front white.

Thanks for the suggestion. They might be tho they are fairly chunky. When I got them.out I realised that the foam cradle that supports the hydraulic roof pump is slightly wet. It's only wet on the bottom and I managed to squeeze it out onto a towel. And put a microfiber cloth under it to dry it further..The hydraulic pump looks ok and I'm not getting any fault codes. I've put plastic sheet under it temporarily to protect it. There's a slight leak from somewhere.
So I thought maybe the loose screws were from something that hadn't been attached firmly, causing the leak.
