Are there many forum members in the North Wales area.

If so, do you ever get together to chat all things Zed?

Where in. N Wales are you based ?
Even if there aren’t any members living near there (which I’m sure there will be), many members head for Snowdonia to enjoy the roads there, so would give you an opportunity to meet up and even gain from your local knowledge.

Edit: Maxman is based in Wrexham and Griffo46 works in Wrexham

There's definitely quite a few Forum members in and around N.Wales and N.West England. Back in 2018 and 2019 myself (Lancashire) and forum friend Jamesditchy (Liverpool) organised a N.Wales Run beginning in Ruthin (2018) and Oswestry (2019) and heading west via amongst others Evo Triangle, Blaenau Ffestiniog, Llanberis Pass, lunch in Beddgelert, Barmouth then heading back east to finish at the Ponderosa Cafe - Horseshoe Pass. Some of the best driving and scenic roads in the U.K along the way. We had people from all over the U.K and even N.Ireland attend on both occasions and had an amazing 29 cars on the '19 event ! :driving: We were all set with a week to go before the 2020 edition when Covid decided to spoil things and we had no choice but to cancel it :(
Unfortunately, the last couple of years for reasons many and varied we haven't organised anything. Got a busy year ahead of me in 2024 but maybe 2025 could see something in the offing....maybe. It takes a HUGE amount of organising with help from several forum friends but it's a great day out, great fun and very rewarding
A few photos from those two fantastic days :

Whereabouts in N.Wales are you situated ? Why not organise something yourself ? Pick a place and a date, organise a meet and post it on here. Maybe a short drive after ? I'm sure you'd get quite a few come along :D

I'm based a fair few miles south in mid Wales but would be interested to travel up for a meet or join up at some section of a run as I did a couple of years ago for a run organized by R2Uzenblot. It was great fun.

Five of us have done a Snowdonia trip annually for the last 4 years, buzzing around Bala, Horseshoe Pass and Dolgellau

Cheers All,

Some great pics and advice.
I’m based in Mynydd Isa, North east Wales.

If any of you plan on a snowdonia trip, I’d be happy to tag along.

Cheers

I’m north Shropshire and often go into Wales for a run out, if anything is arranged I’ll be up for it. May take me some time to get there though with the 20mph speed limit ☹️

Hey all, so sorry to hijack the post - but I'm actually organising another Wales Run on the 6th April.

Basics are:
Times: 0845-1800
250 miles totals
Starts in Pontypool
Ends in Dolgellau
Limiting to 14 cars to keep things manageable.

Exact route will be shared with everyone who attends Route covers Black Mountain / and then towards Aberystwyth.
Grabbing lunch around 1ish in Aberystwyth.

I organised a 3 day Wales drive last year which went down a treat (a mixture of 11 cars) - but I felt essentially the best roads can be done over a full day. Anyway all performance cars are welcome. I'll post a dedicated post on the forum shortly anyway for anyone interested in joining.

ps - former z4 coupe owner, now in an M2
