Thinking of changing to Chris Knott from Admiral

I have a question for those that have migrated to Chris Knott insurance AND had to use the insurance?

Having been on an Admiral multi car scheme and have 3 cars with them, all with 9 years NCB i decided to give CK a try. then are cheaper overall by £147 over the 3 cars than Admiral, but it not just the cost of the insurance that is important.

If you have experience of using your insurance cover for an accident can you comment on what their service is like. For instance:-
1. what what the phone support like?
2. how quick was the courtesy car arranged?
3. what was the quality of the repair agent?
4. how did they deal with mid-term changes and how much did they charge?

Also any other comment you might like to make, good and bad.

Much appreciate the response.

Dario

I've never had a policy with CK as they were never competitive enough.

Other half was with them 2 years though and they were pretty good when it came to dealing with a minor (third party fault) bump.

Thanks for the reply.

Swindon called today to see if they could offer a quotation. Offered cash back of £300 on £600 policy! Did some research on this and found the Internet alight with complaints about Swindon for all sorts of reasons. Din think I'll bother.

Of course I'm biased but there is much to be said for having that broker backup. When you go direct to an insurer you have to fight your own battles.
