We are considering a 2 week trip to italy and would appreciate any advice on destinations and routes. I did a Euro road trip back in 2011 which went Switzerland passes, Lake Garda, Venice, Modena, Florence then across to Monaco and Nice and back home. It would be good to hear of any other ideas for us to consider.I won't be doing quite as much driving this time as the Mrs won't be to happy if we spend too much time driving.

you must do the lakes, lake garda is 1, I can't recall the others but I think there are 3 good ones to drive round
