The box it came in is quite cool and you also get a small PANAM pin badge. I like what Timex are bringing out at the moment. They seem to get alot of stick on watch forums which I think is undeserved.

Nothing more than a novelty but I think it’s a quite a nice looking watch.
It’s been in the drawer for years and decided to put a battery in it and it keeps good time.

The back popped off ok but I needed a watch press to replace it.

Been on the look out for one of these since they launched three years ago, this one came up for sale on one of my forums at a fantastic price and it landed today. The workmanship on the bracelet is amazing, you can remove or add links with your fingernail also the straps are interchangeable using the same technique.

Has anyone purchased replacement watch straps from Barton? Were you happy with them? Do they live up to the expectation that their site presents? Would you recommend any alternative sellers?

I'm not a fan of the rubber strap that accompanies the Galaxy Watches and usually swap it out for some "leather" option from AliExpress/Amazon. They look good to begin with, but the lack of quality begins to shine through eventually, and I've probably spent more on replacement straps, than I would have if I opted for one or more mid-tier quality watch straps.

I have several Barton straps all in various different colours.

The Elite silicone ones are soft and very comfortable come with two sizes too for different size wrists, their leather ones are also comfortable. Their canvas ones have a tendancy to fade over time.

I would agree Ronk I still have and will never sell it. I have it on today first time in months, they are the ultimate classic wristwatch in my opinion. It’s from 1987 and in original condition. My grandson is a lucky boy because that’s where it’s going on his 21st.
