Well, after kicking Lancaster BMW into touch and going to see the body shop at Specialist Cars in Hitchen, they have only gone and got it approved under warranty! They were extremely helpful (unlike Lancaster ) and a brand new roof is heading my way at last :D :thumbsup:

This whole saga went on far too long and was time consuming and stressful! I wonder how many people would have just paid up instead of being a stubborn dos like be but the end result IS the right result I believe :thumbsup:

Well done Paul for sticking at it !

Now there is a precedent for BMW accepting this as a warranty claim hopefully the next poor sod won't have to go thru the donkey work you have had to.

Next job.....
