My Z4 has the service pack which runs out in Aug 17 but apparently rear brakes aren't covered, the dealer has quoted £193 to do. Can I get an independent to do it and update my service reader or am I stuck with the main dealer to keep everything correct for the service pack? If I can go for an independent can anyone recommend one?

Service pack only covers oil, filters & plugs. Brakes, tyres are wearing parts & not covered under the service pack. Bmw do a maintenance pack but costs thousands £. Indys can do brakes & reset service indicator. Would need to use genuine BMW parts I believe. Get a price from Indy B for BMW Clydebank is one & get BMW to price match. I got Harry Fairbairn Irvine to price match in the past.
