Due to the impending arrival of our first child I am selling my beloved Z4 Coupe Sport 3.0si manual in silver. It is a 57 plate (Nov 2007) with just under 33k miles and 4 previous owners (plus me). It has a full BMW service history and I purchased it from Stratstone Hull in 2013 when they brought it up from London for me. It has just been serviced by Stratstone Hull and passed its MOT with no advisories.

Service history:
Pre-delivery check 26/11/2007
Brake fluid 08/02/2010 @10,492 miles
Inspection 2 and brake fluid 26/11/12 @ 16,870 miles
Inspection 2 23/01/2015 @ 25,896
Brake fluid 31/01/2015 @26,161
DSC/ABS Hydro unit replaced by Stratstone BMW 31/03/2015
Oil service 14/01/2017 @32938

The car comes with:
Part leather black upholstery
Heated electric memory seats
Xenon headlights
Rear parking sensors
Bluetooth phone prep
Storage package
Cruise control
5-spoke split rim alloys
Multi-function M leather steering wheel
Climate control
2 keys
Mats
Eisenmann rear silencer (hand made in Germany by the company that provides the OEM exhaust systems to Porsche AG, some AMG Mercedes and McLaren)

EDIT - alloy wheels have been fully refurbished

The only negative about the car are is a slight indentation above the rear number plate

£12,950 happy viewing!!

Mr Wilks, that's a very fair & accurate snobsis..
And, whilst the OP has a low miler Coupe, it's very sadly - let down by the state & poor standard of the current set of alloy wheels.. Makes, one wonder - about the condition of the tyres, too :?

The OP's asking price, of £13,500 is seemingly strong and with all due respects, a little rich.. I dare say, that the evidence will be in - the amount of time, that this might take to sell at around that figure..

Good luck with the sale..

Can I also offer what I hope will be some constructive advice and taken as such?

It's a nice, low mileage car which undoubtedly should command a premium...and which you are asking for.

Therefore, it really warrants spending the extra, relatively small amount against your asking price to have the wheels refurbished to perfect condition, as others have already said.

Also, You can't say stuff like "the number plate is dented" because a number plate costs £15 to replace...in the face of a £13,000 transaction that doesn't inspire confidence that you have been prepared to scrimp elsewhere but still expect a big return. Just buy a new number plate.

A potential buyer of such a car...at such a price...also doesn't want to see (clearly visible in one of the photos) scuffing of the side-bolster on the driver's seat (albeit just colour removed rather than actual leather wear) or attempts to cover it with the seat-belt. It's a black seat and very easy to re-dye that portion to make it look fresher.

Finally, do better photographs...and certainly NEVER in the rain! That will always put off a discerning buyer as that automatically rings alarm bells with them.

With the above in mind, I reckon with time and to the right buyer you could achieve the asking price. If you take this example of mine:

The vast majority would balk at first glance at the price....Yes?
Well, it might therefore surprise them that it appears that I have sold it within 1 Day of putting up for sale (and nowhere else other than my website) plus another potential buyer waiting in the wings if that first buyer doesn't take it.

Yes, I too am asking a premium for what it is but you are for your very low mileage car. However, compare and contrast the fundamentals of the advert versus your advert:

This advice is only intended to help and I hope it's taken that way. I don't mean to sound over-harsh or critical. It's just that if you have something 'good' to sell you need to present it that way and spend ( in your case only ) a little time, effort and money to achieve your aim.

GLWTS

(in your case)

Always wondered if the only other coupe from hull that I know of and in the same colour as mine is on here. ( unless there's more titan silvers .)

OP all these comments are fair, the mileage is a massive plus for you but this z4c needsto be presented immaculately To get within 10 % of that asking price e.g. tail pipes also need a polish. A day of polishing and detailing would do your sale wonders. glws

Yeah they seem pretty rare round here. There used to be a blue one too but haven't seen that for a while.

I understand what everyone is saying and I must admit I did rush to put it on. I do have plans to sort out the detailing issues but just wanted to gauge the market. I'll know to wait next time!! Plus, as I said, I am open to offers.

£6K cash any good then? :D :D :D

Just kidding! I'm sure if you take all of the advice people have given above you'll get a good price for it.

Looks like a great Coupe with low miles and good history OP - GLWTS.

Not a criticism, more of an observation - this is the 2nd Coupe I have seen recently with half leather trim. Based on the BMW sales brochure I thought full leather was standard on the E86 (even if most other things like pdc, MFSW, Cruise, etc. were options)!

E86 standard spec. does look mean even compared with my 2002 E46!

Thanks Mr Tidy. I was surprised when I found the car but actually much prefer the seats over full leather. Alcantara would be my choice in a car over leather but since it wasn't an option this is the next best!

9k tops? Have you looked at the market? That's higher mileage coupe price. This is low mile example. Hence the premium.
