In the end it was a very close thing between the E86 and the E30. The E30 won in the end. So I will be there, but the Z4C will have to stay at home. Still looking forward to seeing everyone's Z4's

I had a really good day. I'm sad that i didn't bring the Z4C seeing as I saw six of them there - more than I usually see per year !

However, it was nice meeting some of you guys. Plus the E30 got 2nd Place in the Show and Shine so it's not all bad

Excellent day at Sports Cars in the Park

Met Dave 1971, CherryM and Paulgs1000 at Scotch Corner Services just after 9.00 am before a steady half hour drive down the A1 in convoy to Newby Hall. Great to see you Guys and thanks for your company

Some great pics there, there were lots of nice cars on display today; it was a good event, much better than the last one I went to and good to meet some new fellow Z owners too. It was a bit hectic on the way out, I was glad when you let me in!

Well that saves me posting any photos Gareth

What hosting site do you use? It would take me hours to upload so many photos to Photobucket

Thought the show was excellent - such a variety of sports cars and some real exotics. Nice to meet up with members old and new (like Laine's new E89 - tasty!) and we even got to see a bit of spirited driving when the cars left the showfield - quite entertaining!

Hope you had an enjoyable mini hoon on the way home - how disappointed was I that my mate wasn't up for some spirited driving

Pics are hosted on photobucket so no different to yourself but since switching to fibre broadband, uploads are much quicker. Max 10 mins for all the above. It took me longer to copy over the img codes. There must be a quicker way than copying each one individually

You would have enjoyed the route back through the Dales.

The organisers suggested there was around 800 cars registered to attend making for a really diverse mix of cars on display. Plenty of BMW's on the BMWCCGB stand and spotted a few Zeds I recognise from the Forum. Too many cars to photograph them all but here's a selection to give you flavour.

Great Pics and think you captured most of the best cars at the show although the white Lambo Countach is a kit car

The red one is the real deal and the Ferrari 360 just behind it is the one I drove down.

10 mins - heavens it takes me nearly as long for a set of three photos! I most certainly would have enjoyed the drive home - a trudge up the A1 was not my idea of enjoying the M

. We really enjoyed the day it was great to meet up with you guys and have a catch up, some great cars on show too.

It's a shame we couldn't get out for the mini hoon but I thought it best not to it's all fixed now and I'm looking forward to my new boots arriving on Friday. They should be nicely scrubbed in for Craig's borders run in a couple of weeks.

We had a lot of fun at Sports Cars In The Park last year, it was good seeing so many Zed's.

BMW Car Club GB are going again this year, and it would be good if lots of Z4's came again and joined us. ZRoadsters are coming as well. Maybe I'll even get to bring my Z4C this year.
