June 4: Soft Top Sunday

It’s time to drop those tops and let your hair down as we celebrate the world of open-topped, open air motoring. Whether that be a canvas-roofed classic, a modern four-seater cabriolet with a folding hard-top or even no roof at all, Soft Top Sunday celebrates motoring opened up the elements.



So, plenty of notice!! Usually an early start but I guess timings can be arranged nearer the date. I suggest we meet in Petworth Square and then drive in together.

Given the numbers going to Newland's Corner meets I hope we can get a fair few cars together! We'll need to register our cars on the Goodwood site. I'll try to contact them to see if we can all be parked together

I'll definitely be up for this - I'll just have to park my car in the punters carpark as it has the correct roof

I'm only a maybe for this. It's Mrs R's birthday on the 2nd, and it's a significant one. She'd kill me if I announced that she will be 50, so I won't make any such announcement.

Have promised to take her away for the weekend if that's what she wants, but she's still thinking about it. Her last thought was to go to Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons (yes, I did have to look up the spelling). If we do that then the good new is that we'll only be away on the Friday night. The bad news is that I probably won't have a money left to buy petrol!

To be fair, it'll probably be cheaper than a bacon roll and coffee at Goodwood!!!

I'd love to go. Got to convince her indoors to babysit the kids first. Maybe drag one of the girls along too.

I've already entered my car for consideration, a message came up to say there's already been a huge interest in the event and I'll know nearer the time as to whether my car has been accepted or not!

Do we individually have to register with Goodwood?

Registered my z4 for this, will definitely be going. Would be nice if we could form a z4forum convoy to the show

I've registered interest but not heard a sausage!

Not heard anything but frustratingly I forgot it was my brothers wedding on the 3rd so I'm unlikely able to make this now.
