Hi,

Having massive trouble trying to connect my iPhone 6s to my BMW followed all instructions and can't even find the name in the Bluetooth section!

I only have the R/T button on the steering wheel and the one the other side which is someone speaking!

Can someone help me connect to my phone? I'm assuming it has got Bluetooth!

On the inside of the door of the drop down storage cubby between the seats there should a button that is the same as the one on the steering wheel , you need to use this button to pair the phone

Thanks for the reply! There does not seem to be a button there, I presume you are talking about the storage behind the handbrake?

Yes, if no button there you don't have blue tooth

Hi Charlie, did you get the iPhone to talk to your car? Mine can be paired, but the system just says waiting. Since the BMW compatibility chart only lists a couple of Nokias, I am guessing a modern iPhone can't work with the 2007 Z4? (I have a 3.0si sport Coupe)

If you pm with your email address me I will forward the original BMW manual pages covering connecting B/T
it will give visual clues as to the hardware if fitted to your car
I have used all models of iPhones with mine and am currently on iPhone 7 works perfectly

Thanks for these threads. More useful than the manuals. Got my S7 connected with ease. Is there a way of playing music via Bluetooth through your phone? I guess not without another gismo!!

Struggling to connect mine too - if I could get a copy of the manual that would be appreciated.

My Samsung pairs but I have never been able to get my contacts to sync. I've given up now.
