OK, have measured the fronts, which, after 5k miles, are an even 8mm. The undamaged rear, to my surprise, is an even ... 5mm.

So, it's decision time and I'm going to accept advice given, particularly mr wilks', factor in my own paranoia and replace both rears.

(Anyone want a driver's side rear Pirelli P Zero 255/35R18 94Y XL for little money? :roll: )
