As above, I'm now in a position to purchase my Z4. Originally was looking at a E85 but wife loves the new shape E89.

Budget 9k - 11k.

Located in Scotland, cash waiting. Will consider all types of spec/colours/engines.

If you're remotely close to Perth then you're welcome to have an extended look at my 3.0 auto an I'll pass on any knowledge I've picked up from all the helpful people on here.
Haven't valued it yet but I'm going to offer it for sale in the next couple of weeks.

Hi there. I'm in Edinburgh so Perth isn't that far. What's the full spec of your motor? I've seen a 3.0 auto on autotrader for sale nearby but it's been for sale for a while which worries me.

I wouldn't always suspect a E89 has a problem if its been for sale a while , the market is relatively slow for them & nailing down the right spec , engine , miles , history etc can make it even slower
Do your homework , watch the market & the right cars are out there but first off i would take Highlanders offer up

No worries....not trying to steer you in the direction of my car although I will be getting an ad together in the 1st week of May.I'm out of the country until next Wed and away again the following weekend for a few days......my offer was to let you spend some time "poking about" an E89 and ask for info that hopefully I can help you with
As Mr Wilks pointed out...it's sometimes difficult to find a car with the spec you want,colour,mileage,etc....there are options fitted to mine that I've never used...voice commands for example.
If it'll help you find the "right" car then let me know and if we can arrange a few hours that are suitable for us both then we could meet........might be owners more local to you that could spare an hour or so for a proper look at all the E89 has to offer....garage 15 minute test drive leaves a bit to be desired IMHO.
