I am removing no essential weight and unnecessary luxuries from my car. And i am skint and need a few things to finish of my build. In this case a wide band sensor and gauge. So i am offering for sale (and swap for your mirrors and switch) my power fold mirrors switch and control module. I would like £250 for the lot (seen single mirrors like this going for £130 without the module. I am as always open to offers i can only say yes or no.

I believe if your car is pre October 2004 these will be a straight swap. Later cars you will have to do some research. I am happy to remove any looms if easy to do so. I believe but will check the colour coded covers should come off so swapping should be easy.

Very tempting! Anybody know what's involved with a 2008 Z? Any extra looms etc needed?

Who cares about those useful points, it is just the show-off factor that when you lock the car the mirrors fold. Sodd everything else

Can you make them do that :? the 2 Zs i had with them on it was a manual button on door to fold / unfold whereas our C Class does it auto on remote when locking / unlocking :) now that's better

Yeah he was. We have spoken. But he is not keen as there will be wiring work needed.

I would imagine door wiring. And then wiring from the control module in the glove box to the switch.

It was claimed that you could do that with Carly, but I have not tried that (think Marius stated that?). Carly certainly could do it on my X5 and my son's 140 and the option is visible for the E85/E86 vehicles but as said, I have not tried that one.
