Looking about, even if I do ebay specials (still genuine, just 'deals') I can only get all the parts for £700-ish, I was quoted just over £900 for all of it fitted, and I'd not have to get my hands dirty, and a receipt for the car.

So it's going into Mark Purcell on Thursday.

2 new tyres also due, as well as oil change and brake fluid, looking at the fat end of £1500 this month on the Z!

Rear discs
Should be 257 for both then your choosing of pad type
Then get Indy to do springs
As discs and pads are a doddle

I could do the lot, but it's hardly a saving. Pricing I was working off.

Of course, I could get Eibach for £210 and get them to fit, but it'll eat up the money saved. Price quoted for springs was £120+VAT each :o

pads £94.09
spring £260.02 both
discs £282.14 both
sensor £18.25

Clio needs a cambelt too, expensive month.

I'm tempted to get Mark to do the oil & brake fluid change too. BMW quoted £277, Mark will be much cheaper, off setting the cost of him fitting the brakes and springs.

I don't plan on selling the car, and I trust his work. So don't see the problem with using an Indi...

Bloody hell! I paid £800 for INSPII last year.

Car has gone to Mark, he's doing all of it, including the oil and brake fluid. Just gets it done.

Yeah springs like exhausts are always a pain when compared to aftermarket. I think my two rears where a marginals cheaper £105 plus vat each.

Don't look at my car, you'll be horrified at how dirty it is! :driving:

Actually, look at it, might make you go crazy and need to clean it.

Collected the car Thursday, very happy with the garage. Showed me the old parts, went through what they done. Handbrakes shoes were OK, so didn't replace them, saved a bit.

Total was £965 for the rear discs & pads, 2 rear springs, oil service & brake fluid change.
