What have you done to your car today?

Tried to drive it. Oh well. Seems to be a flat battery, not sure how long since I drove it, a week or two? Sod's law. It spends 95% of the time on my drive and 5% of my time in a parking bay 25 metres away. Guess where it is currently sat, annoyingly?

E85/E86 owners... is there any reason why you did not go for an E89?

I wanted to buy a coupe not a convertible, which made it incredibly easy to go for an E86 and not an E85 or E89.

Post issues with the new forum here

Is there a way of seeing what threads you have posted on have been updated? One thing I liked about the forum was how you could quickly look and see which of your favourite threads (ones you have posted on) had received new posts and quickly look at those. It sounds like you have done the...

    N52, 3.0L, Oil Leak - Breather System

Just a quick post. I'll be honest, my issue is actually not with my Z4, but I can't see that the 2006 N52 on the 330i is much different. According to BMW (who looked over my car whilst it was in for an outstanding recall) "Oil Leak - Possible Issue with Breather System". There seems to be a...

    Old badges and fogs etc

Based in Guildford... interested in any free or cheap old E85 / E86 foglights in need of a refurb - don't bin 'em - let me collect or drop 'em by if you're passing. Also front, rear, side or wheel badges wanted for disassembly and customisation.

    This Forum is Great

I just want to put it out there. The forum is great, stuffed full of good people in real life and online. Having just bought an E91 I have struggled to find anywhere online a tenth as good for my new touring as this place is for my Z4. It has made me appreciate here a lot more. Thanks everyone.

Tyre Inflator and Battery Charger Recommendations

Is this the best sub-forum for this? Tyre inflator... I am considering buying one to use at home (ie mains power, or dual power). I want a nice one and I ideally want it to come with an attachment that makes it easy to connect to a valve when the valve is set quite far back on the wheel with...

    SOLD - Mitsubishi Lancer Estate 2.0 Sport, 2006, 79700 miles £1200

Mitsubishi LANCER Estate 2.0L Sport, 2006, Manual, 1997 (cc) Not expecting it to sell on this site, but might as well list it just in case... all offers considered, and sensible comments on pricing also welcome - I think my asking might be a bit toppy. I bought this car in 2014 when it was 8...

BMW E85 and E86 Wheels and Tyres Thread

I love the colour, the interior colour, the fact that the interior colour suits the exterior. I also like the wheels as well. I love "classy" cars and I like the opposite end of the extreme (modded, lowered, blacked out windows etc etc). Your looks like a great examle of the former. Nice.

    Wheel Spacers on an E86

I know, I know, done before plenty of times... On the face of it Front - 0mm to 12mm is the range, with 10mm or 12mm being the two main options if you don't want stock. Rear - 0mm to 20mm is the range, with 15mm or 20mm being the two main options if you don't want stock. I am minded to go...

Should I get an M in the mid to long term?

I love my cheap high mileage Z4 Coupe and am considering it's mid or long term replacement with something nicer - lower miles, nicer colour scheme inside and out, etc etc. The question is, should it be an M Coupe or same again? Pros of an M? Faster More desirable and more likely to be...

    Flexible car insurance

I can't remember whether I have asked on here before, but does anyone have any knowledge of flexible car insurers? I would love to find a reasonable insurer whereby I can effectively say - I want one year's fully comprehensive insurance. I have two cars and am quite happy to pay up front for...

Eibach Lowering Coils, Bilstein B4 dampers, MV2 Wheels

Edit - Just a quick bump to say that the Price on the MV2s has been dropped and the eibachs are sold pending collection I hope this advert is OK... I have some items which I have bought to use, but I am now at a point where I won't use them for a while, and I'm now wondering whether other...
