I sorned my 2003 Z4 in November on my drive and connected a battery conditioner and left it. Yesterday I decided to try to start it prior to taxing on the 1 st of April I am happy to say it started on first turn of the key which proves the quality of the car.

My z4 e85 is sterling silver and I am planning to have my 107 alloy wheels which have previously painted by Stevie Wonder refurbed but I can’t decide if to have a change of colour from the standard bright silver. Has any body got any suggestions i.e.
Gun metal grey?

I have a 2003 BMW Z4 with a business cd radio with an amplifier in the boot behind the battery. On fitting a single din radio it powers up but does not have any sound. Can any body give me advise on the wiring up to make the speakers work, it appears the amp might not be getting power.
Help please.

Hi from Manchester.
I bought a 2003 E85 3.0 auto 2 weeks ago as my midlife crisis car. It’s the 4 th Z I’m owned happy to be back.
Cheers all
Ps. Just waiting for summer to return.
My car is showing cc 415 denoting time to change it. If I buy a battery with same 60 amps as currently fitted can I fool the car by attaching a trickle charger thus saving reprogramming by the dealer. Has anybody on the forum changed a battery on an e89?
