Would you do a permanent antenna delete?

yep I would/did. If I'm not mistaken the main fm antenna is actually behind the rear bumper.

What did you do to your Z4M today?

Thanks Ed! I fear the chances of that are vanishingly rare these days, though I did make good use of my months tax (first time in a year!) and sneaked in two great days. :) I think I'll just bite the bullet with either, 2cm not much difference, 7/9 on the other hand definitely is. I like look...

Torque setting for front suspension strut to steering knuckle bolts(Z4M E85)

At the risk of being wrong again  I'm fairly certain the torque speculation for the half shaft bolts is 100nm not 80.

    Speaker wire female connectors

You're welcome to these 2 if you like. Probably a couple of meters and 2 connectors.

Torque setting for front suspension strut to steering knuckle bolts(Z4M E85)

TIS states 81NM for these bolts on the E86 platform

How much does fuel load influence road holding?

No, the e85/6 uses a 'saddle' tank, so the weight is split l/r. The battery (and a bunch of other things) on the other hand is on the 'wrong' side for rhd cars :x

    Shock mount mushrooming

If I'm not mistaken the bolt in cage is the Weichers one, which is nice as it is designed to work with the existing trim but is compromised for that very reason. It's great for proper harness mounting but does not tie in with strut towers so isn't any use for strengthening that area. Weichers...

    Shock mount mushrooming

I've had the same setup for a similar period of time. Unfortunately a couple of years ago I found this, so I'd say the plates are not a catch all sadly (at least with solid top mounts).

Has anyone badged their radiator cover?

I had a dig around today and found one I hadn't used. You're welcome to it if you like?

Has anyone badged their radiator cover?

From memory it was some insert badges (i.e. no chrome round the outside) that had 3m tape. No prongs. I've had a look, I can't find the order I'm afraid, it was quite a few years ago but I have a feeling they were for the rear coupe boot lock badge. I don't have nay other photos but you can see...

    Zeds on track

Good to see it back ed :) Feel like I started the thread at a time when it seemed a bit taboo around here to track a z4 for some reason, roll on a few years and judging by the number of interesting threads that's changed  Big congratulations on your 2nd!! Shame to conflict but the...

Has anyone badged their radiator cover?

I used, I think it was, an adhesive badge insert for a side indicator project I had left over.

Before vs After CSL+ Spec Engine Build

The airbox is essential, whether it makes more power or not you'll care not I guarantee! I think I'm right in saying that I am the only car I know of running the goke csl airbox made for the z4m :tumbleweed: The difference to others is that it locates directly to the Z4 air intake and seals on...
