PCBs finally designed, fabricated and tested.
*Bare* PCB pictures attached - they will obviously be complete when purchasing so nothing to build/make/solder
A simple, easy, direct swap PCB mod which allows you to CHOOSE/SET what each paddle direction does on each side!
For example:
There's 3 Version -
In most cases, pre-soldered solder bridge would be the "go to" one. The solder bridge could also be changed by yourself at a later date if comfortable with a soldering iron and small SMD pads. I will pre-solder them to as per your choice so that rhey're ready to fit upon arrival
The switch versions are for those who may which to adjust at a later date but are not comfortable with soldering.
It's quite possible other model BMWs also use these same paddle pcbs and so this mod may work on other models also
It is a seemingly simple mod, but it has taken some time and investment to R&D these.
I will put together a quick guide on how to change the PCB hopefully over the weekend and post into the relevant forum section. (I will update this post with that link when done)

- LEFT Paddle (Both Push and Pull) DOWN a gear
- RIGHT Paddle (Both Push and Pull) UP a gear
- LEFT Paddle PULL = DOWN a Gear, PUSH = DO NOTHING
- RIGHT Paddle PULL = UP a gear, PUSH = DO NOTHING

- AUTO -> 3 Pins connecting to steering wheel loom in a 6 pin plug (with remaining pin blocks empty). This can be configured using solder bridge pads OR switches
- SMG -> 2 Pins connecting to steering wheel loom, 2 pin plug. Slide Switch version
- SMG -> 2 Pins connecting to steering wheel loom, 2 pin plug, Solder Bridge Version
