The air duct screws onto the top of the oil cooler. Its unique to the Z4M. p/n 51718040587
If anyone has one I'm rebuilding the front of an M so would be interested.
As per the title. Anyone know of champagne insert door cards? Just trying to save myself some effort recolouring a set.
Also half watching for a piano black trim as well.
I just wondered if anyone has ever come across replacement lenses for the fog lights like I’ve seen for the headlights?
I’ve split, sandblasted and primed the old bodies and the lenses are going to let them down.
I’m keeping an eye open for a low mileage, good spec keeper coupe. Not black and strictly manual.
Ideally a 3.0si but also looking at 3.2 M’s.
My plan is to replace my current coupe so after something a little special. Happy to wait and travel etc.
Look forward to hearing from anyone...
Today I started a fun project to build my moon mile coupe into a ZMC look alike.
I’ve had my heart set on an Alpine White ZMC ever since the day I sold my Imola Blue one but I’ve never had an opportunity to own one. I’ve sat researching the 18 that were built and I’ve got good data on 15...
I have two poorly sim85’s (safety control modules) that suffered failures during programming. They are both communicating to diagnostics and have a status 12.
However when trying to reflash/program every process I try fails with a 2020 error ‘can’t communicate with module’ or 200 ‘can’t read...
Anyone want this quad exhaust and bumper setup?
Removed from a 3.0i e85.
Free if you can swap your standard rear bumper (Titan silver). Other wise £50 takes it all as contribution towards a replacement.

Morning experts; I have a z4 roadster that smells (and was treated) like an ashtray.
Thinking about the roof, the interior liner must be harbouring a lot of the residue smoke particles. Am I insane to be considering stripping it out and soaking it in the bath?
Is it even possible without...
I’ve picked up a 2004 3.0i which has option 677: High-if System Professional DSP. The trouble is that the amp is missing.
Inside the car I’ve got no life in the Nav Unit or head unit.
Is that unsurprising considering the amp is missing? Or do I need to dig deeper and look into the basics like...
I’ve had my 3.0i roadster on the market for nearly 2 months and have had no interest. Having done a full refurb on the front suspension and engine overhaul I’m not breaking it. In fact I’ve just bought two replacement front wings to remove the rust bubbles.
However I’m looking for ways to...
Anyone fancy a set of BBS deep dish reps before I publish wider. Asking £600
Recently had a full refurb. I didn’t replace the plastic studs but new ones can be purchased if you prefer them. Ignore the rust marks as it’s just water residue off my old bolts and rinses off.
Wrapped in budget...
Are there any tuning gurus on here?
I’ve got a high mileage e86 coupe which I’ve not had long and not had a chance to drive much yet. However it has a few characteristics I’ve not found on my previous Zed’s;
It seems to hold its revs longer when backing off the accelerator. It starts a little...
Shy bairns get nowt so I'm casting the net like the many before me.
If you have a genuine front M bumper or if you think about selling one in the future I'd appreciate a nudge.
Many thanks
Update - - the cars now gone. I kept as many useful parts as I could.

I’ve listed a silver grey 2006 2.0 for scrap on Marketplace. I’ve stripped it for other project cars.
If anyone wants anything before the carcass goes just shout.
For...
Some days you just have to play. Stripping this z4 to save a few others. No key so I used the angle grinder to chop the steering lock spring so I can roll it onto the ScrapMan’s trailer when done.
I have a pair E86 of rear wings for sale. Carbon black.
They will both need sanding and respraying but a solid base to start from. £150 each.
Located North East NE32

Update: O/S sold pending collection
I'm part way through a rear axle tear down on a 220k coupe. The subframe and components will hopefully be back from the powdercoaters tomorrow ready for new bushes all round. Turning to the diff it was covered in oilly crud. No noise when running but so much oil all seals need replacing.
Given...
