What style are they, as I can't seem to find them to get widths and offsets.
As said if you could give them a clean so I can see how much is required to refurb them I could be interested.

Edit just found them 400M.

Yes they don’t have sensors , the F31 doesn’t need them as tyre pressure is monitored by the ABS / Speed sensors as is the E85 Z4

My F31 320D (2015 pre-LCI) does need TPMS in the wheels, otherwise it complains and shows a flat tyre warning on the dash all the time I’m using m6 winters :P

I even bought a set of OEM sensors for them, but the wheel has an odd flange which requires a longer stem :headbang:

I even read on the F3x forums that the system would default to the ABS sensor method if it didn't detect the TPMS after a few resets, but I' ve tried a reset everytime I've driven the car over the last 5 months, and it's still not gone off (even tried pumping them up to 50psi to try and trigger it). Maybe that only works on North American models?

But my MOT man said the won't fail a car on a TPMS error if they know the tyres/wheels are using standard valves.

My F31 has 'proper' sensors in the wheels. So I would either need a new set or take them from my existing wheels.

I am confused now by this TPMS thing, my car is a 320d touring, I has no issues with changing the wheels to these ones apart from the winter tyres were inflated higher so just a reset on the I drive system
Same when changing back to summer wheels again
so I just assume there’s no sensors and the monitor uses the speed / abs sensors to give the warnings
When did BMW introduce the direct sensors? Maybe it’s the age of the car ? Or am I missing something?

It's all about the age of the car from what I can make out.

My newest BMW so far was a 2007 1 Series which like my 2006 Z4s, 2005 and 2006 3 Series all used the wheel speed/ABS sensors.

But I did buy a set of wheels from an E89 that had the sensors in the valves. Maybe the change came with the E89 facelift?

For those curious, the F30/F31 cars changed from the rotational TPMS to the pressure measuring version in 2015 - my 2013 F31 did NOT need the wheel sensors, my 2017 F30 did need them.

Allegedly you can alter a bit of coding on the later cars so that it uses rotational TPMS

I've tried to code out my warning for the winter tyres on my 2015 F31, but nothing I've tried works...but the MOT station doesn't even mention the TPMS warning (it's always on winters when MOT is due)...so I've not even got around to fitting the TPMS set I bought for them :P
