I have a unique opportunity to buy this set of brand new HID replacement market headlight kit for $75!! It includes the housings, ballasts and bulbs. It will sell fast, so I want 1st chance at it.

Since my car has halogen, what's involed in connecting this kit against my factory set-up?? I know I'll loose self-leveling, but that's not a legal issue here.

Not sure about the cables, but it's takes 15mins to take the front bumper off, then a few screws to remove the headlights. There's a good how to knocking around for this.

Sorry can't advise on the installation but I would say just buy them. At that price if you don't install them you could always sell them again and you'll certainly recover your costs.

Yes I have the how-to link saved but it doesn't mention anything about the hook-up conversion process from halogen to Xenon. The actual bumper and headlight removal I'm OK with.

is it an aftermerket hid kit?

you'll have two connectors that sit in the bulb holder.

job done.

Yes it's the Spyder aftermarket kit that some on this forum already purchased. So, two connectors that go to the ballasts that connect to the OEM halogen feed as a plug-and-play? This is a picture of the similar kit that complete the package:

Guess I might just end up with the buy-it-now and figure-it-out later approach :D

Yep truely easy to install. I experienced however trouble with the light image: the headlight units are designed for halogen, not for hid. Rougly every second car driver on the other side of the road felt the necessity to flash at me to indicate this ... This tricked me to return to the original units and deginger these ...

Could you not make manual adjustement to the pitch of the light by turning the screws on top?

I could and I did, but the reflectors not being designed for hid was the real issue ... :( Hid in a non hid unit is simply a non ideal combo.

I'm the proud new owner of a ridiculously low priced HID headlight assembly kit :D Will figure out the details as I go along.
