Sometimes at night the indicators have a tiny little repeater light on the edge of the mirrors and sometimes they don't. Am I missing a setting that I am accidentally turning on and off? Has anyone spotted this repeater?
 
Isn't that to tell you not to change lanes because there is another vehicle there?
 
Blind spot monitor should be a triangle set into the mirror itself by some way - lights up if someone's there and flashes angrily if someone's there and you start indicating to pull out into them.

I haven't spotted any repeaters on mine, at least not that are visible from inside the car; bit of a shame as I liked the wrap-around repeaters on my F20 and F22!
 
Finally sorted this out, I think...... The design of the mirror is such that a tiny part of the reflector lens wraps onto the rear edge. If you adjust your position, seat or mirror then it can be just enough to bring it in or out of vision. I will keep an eye and try and take a photo of what I mean.
 
I have also noticed this on various occasions, but it is a drop of water that reflects the light at the end of the mirror cover. In my Golf GTI, there was a part of the direction indicator as standard.
