Looking to switch jobs.. currently sat at team lead / development manager level.
anyone know of any jobs going?
(pretty much anywhere in the UK, or the US, but would only consider London / NY for an attractive salary)

What kind of languages do you develop in? I know where there are some roles for Obj C coders.

Also - if you have any interest in security, I know where there are some application security / secure developer roles.

c# primarily (winForms, wpf, asp.net, js, mvc, etc etc), but have experience in c++, php, and vb

could be interested in security.. sounds more intriguing than what I'm currently doing!

So.. how many devs do we even have on this forum :D?

I guess I count 3 in this thread so far

Speaking to a few recruitment agencies in and around London would be my first step. They currently have more available tech roles than suitable candidates to fill with; both contract and perm.

Would this involve working in London or have they caught up with the rest of the world down there and now have remote working?

I'm hiring.

Location is Tewkesbury. Bit of a trek from Nottingham but Cotswolds lifestyle. A million miles from London.

I'm looking for a team lead / development manager to lead my dev team (4 permanent dev, 2 contract dev, 1 perm web design, 2 perm QA/test, 2 Uni placements pending). Need demonstrable dev team management capability in a small business / non corporate environment where 'get it done' is way more important than 'cover your arse'.

Scrum. MS environment, Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server. asp.net, js, vb.net, wcf, wsdl, css/html5. Android, iOS and poss Windows Phone emerging this year.

International customer base in 60 countries.

Permanent or contract-to-permanent only for this role ie no short term contractors. If you're interested please PM me with your contact details and I'll call you. Role is open now and I'm about to go to agencies.

Sounds like exactly what I'd be after.
Location is a bit far, but we can discuss that :driving:

I'll pm you tomorrow morn!

 OK great thanks. Gotta be worth a chat. If you PM me your email address I'll let you have some more info

It depends on the company and the circumstances of the employee/employer I suppose. A few I've been at allow remote working for contractors because there wasn't enough office space..

Worth mentioning what kind of company you're at, and what kind of work you do too - there's a big difference in what 'team lead' and 'senior' can mean in different firms, industries and locations. 'Attractive salary' is also subjective :D London is a pricey place to be .. what non-Londoners consider attractive is what a Londoner could consider hard times (my work experience is restricted to Nottingham/London and where my company flies me to).
