Anyone tried anything like this before...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HD-Vihecle-DVR-2-7-Dual-Camera-Car-Blackbox-GPS-Logger-G-Sensor-Video-Recorder-/221165406773?pt=US_Surveillance_Security_Systems&hash=item337e7c4a35

Sounds like a good idea but not sure if they'd actually work very well. If anyone has tried one or something similar please post thoughts/advice.

Cheers.

I have a road hawk, all the same spec but a lot smaller ...
Records a 3 hour continuous loop ....
Pretty good piece of kit ..... :D

I have a roadhawk also, got one after all the crash-for-cash scams going on, and after a few incidents of numpty drivers
Wired it in around the A-Pillar and under the trim, mounted under the rear-view mirror - its there all the time, starts recording as soon as the car starts up.

You can link it to a screen if you are unsure - there is a video out connection - but getting the angle etc right is pretty straight forward. Also if you want to check, record a bit then take the card out and check.
