Had my G29 bumper mangled by a truck reversing when I was the only car around..... Needs a new bumper but the boot has been scratched with a very small dent so will need painting. My car has been ceramic coated so do the bodyshop need to do anything special with the boot when rectifying?

Nope, the paintwork prep stages will remove the ceramic.... once complete ask for information on where they have blended so the fresh paint area can be repolished and a fresh install of ceramic. Also bare in mind i personally would give it a few weeks before installing a fresh ceramic as the paint will need to outgas, speak to your painter about this as some have no issue with this being done immediately.

Experience - we are a gtechniq accredited ceramic install shop.

6 weeks is the minimum drying time, so I waited two months before doing mine.
