Just thought it had to be said as the Premiership new boys after this afternoons magnificent display at Wembley.
Commiserations to our Sheffield contingent who were the better team for most of the game to be honest.
Now about to work on tomorrows hangover :yeah: :gmb: :dance2:
 
Let’s see if they can get into double figure points and stay up next season, thereby bucking the sad trend.

Used to go and watch them at Roker Park when I was a lad. In the days of Jim Baxter, Jimmy Montgomery and the worst footballer I ever saw, Ambrose Fogarty. 😀
 
Remember one game in the 1960s with my dad when the Roker End was so full, adults passed us kids over their heads to the front to sit on the straw bales surrounding the pitch that were used as frost protection and had been taken off the pitch that morning. Can't remember what game it was as I only about 8 years old but the crowd was over 60,000

Yes, in those days they were a real force to be reckoned with. But regardless of what league they were in ( like Newcastle)they have always had great support.👍
 
Couldn’t care less TBH but my drinking buddy Steve is a big fan, so I’m pleased 😀
