Hi,

I am selling my lovely E85 in very rare Deep Green/Tiefgruen. This car has been very good to me and sound mechanically but I no longer drive regularly and it needs to find a better home where it will be used more. The green really does look great in the sun. When it is darker it comes out looking more black in photos but still a nice deep green in person.

I am the 3rd owner, having bought it from a friend who was the second owner. The car has now covered 72k miles.

The car interior is in Champagne with the beige roof option. Not to everyone's tastes I am sure but the champagne interior really looks good with the roof down on a sunny day. It also comes with a matching Deep Green hardtop.

It's been well looked after by previous owners and myself. More recently it has been serviced yearly regardless of mileage. I have always run on premium fuel since ownership due to better perceived power and definitely better fuel economy. Has just been professionally detailed and is ready to go!

Some age related marks to the paint but it's overall pretty good condition and comes up well.

Gorgeous car. I'm curious about the hard top. I didn't know that was a thing. Any more info on those?
There are plenty about. I think all E85s were able to have them but don’t quote me. Would have sold mine separately after a bit of TLC but being a rare colour it made sense to sell with the car

Shame nobody got a chance to pick up a bargain instead of it going to a dealer, especially in such a rare colour, but I suppose it was a quick and easy sale for you boca22.

What's next?

A quick sale was needed really and it’s been a divisive colour with the roof. Not entirely sure what’s next. Something more practice for renovating a house.

Sold to a specialist dealer. Thanks! It’s a bit divisive but I like it more than black!

Ah, can you give us an idea of what it went for please?

Yeah, I would have been interested myself, as I decided not to go for the 2.5si after..
