For Sale soon. These are Genuine BBS 2 piece alloys from my Z4. I have just purchased some new wheels and wondered if their is any takers for my old set. They have some corrosion on the inner faces, which would be easily rectified by a powdercoat. The stars are in good condition with no corrosion. The outer lip is also in good condition with no corrosion. They will be for sale in the next couple of weeks and will be for sale as just rims, no tyres.

Open to offers, call Andrew 07919 675 713 or email andrew68@btinternet.com

presume it's a 56 plate, but if it's a 58 plate get them changed under warranty and you will get more for them.

Its a 56 plate, i tried as a goodwill gesture at BMW, but they turned it down due to the fact of age. Shame i really like the wheel and have actually gone for a refurbed set of the same in powdercoat, so hopefully no more corrosion issues. I have only had the car two weeks and knew the alloys were corroded but got a good deal and corroded alloys are not the end of the world and can be changed quite simply.
Hopefully someone with the time may have these. If not i may get the inners refurfed as the stars are perfect and sell them on.

not so bad then having bought it like it, had mine changed @ 3.5 years under good will for the second time on the understanding I don't try for another set.

and welcome by the way, what other mods have you got planned?

Other mods, just the powdercoated 108s with black stars. Aux in lead and a track day????

I would never buy from Coopers in Norwich, had a bad deal with them and vowed never to buy anything from them again. Apologies if you work for them All parts are from Bury or Kings Lynn. Sourced via AC Schnitzer garage, Rossiters at Dersingham.
I am near Watton.

Don't be silly,me working for Coopers ;) I went there to look at a Z4 but bought mine from Listers in Boston, can highly recommend them. They refurbed my 108 alloy wheels although the car is 2004 reg, brilliant.

A bit off topic.. but have you painted your calipers? the plate behind the pads and the calipers themselves look damn clean!

I also got my alloys changed under the manufacters warranty (also got new center caps) as they were corroded inside similar to yours... and now boxed them up in my garage for when i sell my car!

It's a flock of sheep and a herd of cattle :poke:

Yeh right enough. :headbang:

Why do they call someone who tends sheep a shepherd then?

Back on topic - do BMW still offer these 108s an an option?
To me they seem like a design disaster. :(

Calipers painted, what a tedious job, was bored after Xmas, painted disc hubs too. Took couple of days working in garage, 3 coats of paint and all done. :D

Stephendutton1963, Have not got the wheels till next week, soon as they are on i will send some pics.
