Hi Guy's
Finally got my Z4 towards the end of January this year.

I apologize for the size of these pictures.

Few issues i needed to get sorted:

Air Filter: Replaced

Oil Filter & Oil will be done next weekend.

Cabin Filter: Replaced

Check DISA: All ok

Serpentine Belt showing signs of cracking: Now replaced (not has hard as i thought it would be)

Lower Intake Boot Damaged: Now Replaced

Hood Sump Drain: Now cleaned, cleared blockage and inserted flexy rod up into sump to check for blockage at sump end. (hope i managed to get through into sump area but it is just a pity you cant look inside without removing hood.

Wiper Motor Sump: previous owner reported sometimes carpet was wet on passenger side, i am wondering if this was the issue.
BEFORE

AFTER

Coolant Expansion Tank: This was split down one side and needed to be replaced.
I am not going to say it was an easy job :-( i do believe some are but not this one.

So that is belt, tank and intake boot replaced today, i am pretty sure i took out about 3 ltrs of coolant but only 2 lltr has gone back in? am i missing something?

Appreciate any comments and advise.

If you took out 3l of coolant but only got 2l back in you probably have an air lock. Not sure how to clear this on the Zed but on previous cars I find squezing the hose into the rad with engine running will usually clear an air lock. There may well be a bleed screw somewhere on these cars as well.

Nice work B7evan - impressive and great to have photos

Can't help with the coolant but there must be a way to bleed the system - anyone know? :?

Cheers guys, yes a few days of squeezing hoses and bleeding tank finally got another litre or so back in.

Cheers Jamesbond

Not sure if it's just me but since i replaced that damaged intake boot the car seems to give a stronger burble sound :-)

Now another issue today! strapped in the baby car seat and took her for a wee drive but on the way back the airbag light came on and now wont go off again :-(. There are quite a few threads on the forum so will start doing some homework.
