Hi all, my name's Craig and I've recently purchased a 2.0 SE Z4. Car has full service history and is in great condition with 40k miles. Overall I'm chuffed as nuts with it

I know some observant members will notice that I've been a member since 2011!! Confession time... This is my second Z4, first being a 3.0 pre face lift in Maldives blue with Aero body kit (I'll get some pics up if I can get them off PC). I used the forum a fair bit back then but never posted. Now it's time to make amends since it's only fair to give back to the community :D

After my 3.0 I moved to a 3.2 V6 DSG TT. What a car... but at 24 mpg I couldn't justify the running costs

So after making some good memories in my previous Z4 I thought I'd give it another bash! As a daily driver I'm finding the 2.0L to be a nice compromise between £££ and 'Go-Go-Go' haha!!

So far I'm loving it, even turned my hand to modding for the first time. Yesterday I wrapped the aluminium trim with carbon-look vinyl

Totally chuffed with the finish, and surprised myself with my ability to do it!! Trust me, if I can, anyone can haha!!

Next mod, replacing the lil biscuit tin lid wheels

Hope you like the pics!

Craig

What did you use on the area below the hand brake? Looks like a little tray arrangement?

Thanks! No tray arrangement- my gym pass is under the handbrake in the last picture. Maybe a bit of an illusion :D

Hi Javi!

Yes I've seen some of your posts! You've had a few sets of wheels over the years if I recall? A nice set of wheels makes a massive difference imo

Nice mod, well beyond my skills, I've got a 2.0 as a daily driver, no complaints whatsoever.

Haha, as I said if I can do it anyone can. I'm generally useless at this sort of stuff! My tips would be to keep a track of the million screws you remove and don't be scared to pull ridiculously hard on the trim!! At some points I thought I was going to pull my shoulders out their joints :o Testament to a well built car I guess!!

I'm loving the 2.0! Was a tad apprehensive after the power of the 3.0i and TT but I actually really like it! She's a gutsy beast
