Just a post to say hello

Owned the below G29 M40 for what will be a year next month. 19k miles in and absolutely love this thing. MPSS on the rear are due for a change soon and I’m looking at a different brand as they were shocking last winter.

Added floating hub badges, metal door pins, carbon filler cap, M sport value caps and a red starter button.

Welcome on board. What a great colour combo you have. 8) MPSS are so much fun. But your correct, rather loose in cold damp conditions. Great if you enjoy sideways. But not many seem to. :D :driving: :thumbsup:

Just replaced all four MPSS with Goodyear Eagle F1A6's and it is a vast improvement, much quieter, more comfortable, traction is great and I don't feel the LSD swapping over all the time either. Not sure there is much real world difference between the Conti's and Goodyear except you get 8.0mm of tread with the latter and not 7.1mm.

MPSS are certainly "interesting" in cold and damp conditions!
 
For anyone interested I went for Goodyears on the back. 5mm left on the MPSS on the front but may replace sooner. The car doesn’t feel unbalanced with the two brands on. Be interesting if that changes as the temperature drops. It’s more my OCD.
