So I’m wanting to change the service interval from 24 months/30k to 12 months/8k on my vehicle order.

I know I could just use my own date and mileage records but I want it correct.

Using NCSExpert there are more than one modules that need coding and I’m not that familiar with it.

From my understanding Protool will make the required changes if you change the VO.

B21 you have used this a lot. Do you still recommend this tool. I have a K+DCAN usb cable. Will the phone you recommended accept this?

Any help appreciated.
 
I’m not an expert on coding tools…I have ISTA as well as Foxwell, but I use Protool the most..I use it with a KDCAN cable via the OTG and the MHD wireless OBD dongle..

Generally all seems to work well..occasionally I find a failure to execute something will be ok if you try a couple of times..

I think I’ve got some bus issues from the Mr 12 Volt and the ID4 cluster.. :thumbsup:

The phone you linked in Amazon, is that still holding up and does it have usb c as I want to use my K+DCAN cable?

Apologies for all the questions. I’ve been up and down the road with diagnostics tools. I just want a full range of abilities with the path of least resistance.

I’m going to use this to assist my learning with NCSExpert.

Yup it’s going well…so I have a usb to otg connector for the kdcan cable but it’s not a usb c on the bottom of that phone ..it predates the rise of usb c popularity …very useful to have something pokey like Protool when on trips …helped me limp 500 miles home when the water pump barfed..
