Rear bumper fitting

Removed my rear bumper off to get it painted and struggling to get it back on fitting flush to the lights.

Pictures make more sense but needs to be hooked over some brackets just below the lights to make it flush and struggling to get access currently.

Anyone who has done this job before please provide any guidance. I took the old bumper off so tried to repeat the same process but struggling

20241205_113508.jpgThat's a bumper from a facelifted E85. It should be a pre-facelift bumper with those rear lights and Sterling Grey paint like this one

Ah think it’s facelift rear lights for me then? I’ve just had it sprayed so be a shame although really like the originality of the car

If you've had it sprayed Sterling Grey you won't even be able to sell it easily as I'm pretty sure that was only a prefacelift colour? (Happy to be corrected though)
If you want to stay original you can have the rear bumper we previously discussed for free if you can collect it. But of course that needs paint too.

Read up a bit on the subject…wires need swoping in the plug and there is some coding involved.

Search here on the Forum ..there is information on this .👍 https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=17666
