Removing badges

What's the best way to remove off the car? The 3 on the ///M3 badge was put back on too far apart after they took the wrap off. It's bugging me.
Hairdrier then something flat behind to lift it?
And what should I use to stick it back on again?
Cheers chaps.

I think I would get a new badge as you'll never get the gaps just right by re sticking and I think it would bug you. The new ones come with a template & sticker over the top of the badge to ensure proper fitment.

Removing the old one I use a hairdryer, then a credit card, followed by some tar & glue remover to get the adhesive off

Use some dental floss to saw it off, that's how I removed mine.

This.

Don't be tempted to pull towards you however, this will increase your risk of leaving a mark.

As for loosening the glue, warm water or a hairdryer will work well.

Thanks all.
I've got a template. The previous owner left it in the handbook.
He still didn't manage to put it on right tho.

Hairdryer, but it does hurt your finger tips though!

I just pull the letters off as the glue softens.

Hot glue gun to put it back on?
Noooooo! :o

Buy some proper trim tape (it's thin, waterproof, double-sided sticky tape), stick it to the back of the badge and then cut to shape using a scalpel (ideally cutting 1-2mm inside the line of the badge)

Or if you don't want to, you can buy the official BMW part for that. Costs a couple of pound.

I had to re-position the boot M badge on mine as it was wonky like most of them are ...
