Replacing vanos oil feed pipe & oil filter housing gasket

I recently bought my second 2003 Z4 3.0 Roadster after very much regretting selling my old one; life is now so much better!
I had an inspection done and a few things came up, including "replace the vanos oil feed pipe & oil filter housing gasket" due to oil leaks.
I'm thinking of doing the work myself but am wondering about replacing the vanos oil feed pipe. Is this a common issue as I haven't seen any posts mentioning it?
Do I need to replace the pipe itself or just some seals? Is it a fairly straight forward job or is there anything I should be aware of?
Do I get the parts directly from BMW? Any particular brand of oil filter housing gasket I should use?
Step by step instructions for both jobs would be very helpful.
Sorry for the ramble but many thanks to everyone in advance!

I replaced my vanos oil line when replacing my oil filter housing gasket, I used a Hel braided line that I got off Ebay, easy to install and never had a problem with it, looks much better than the original line if you ask me

Oil feed pipe simple just unbolt and put new one on ensure you put the copper sealing washers on correctly.
Oil filter to engine block gasket change requires removal of the drive belt and the alternator to get at the housing bolts, I use Elring gaskets on this and have not had any problems.
