Reset Brake Pad Counter

So they still cant reset it !!!!!!

He thinks its because its still showing 1100 miles until the next change is due, and as so, its still green with no warning. He thinks when it turns red then it will allow a reset.

I suspect he may not have the correct software, but there's not much I can do apart from pay the dealer, which isn't going to happen.

I'll wait till it goes red and then try Carly again. Got a 700 mile round trip tomorrow/Friday so will see how much that takes off the counter.

Finally got it to reset with Carly!

This week the counter dropped from 1100 miles to 900 miles (despite driving over 1000 miles in between, although 700 of those were motorway miles).

Service light on rear pads went orange telling me to book it in. Carly failed 1st time but tried again and it worked. Now showing over 30k miles.

Any ideas on how to force the reset to work? Is it just a case of leaving the warning until it goes red and then giving it a go? Seems a bit stupid to not be able to reset the brake service indicator when you have actually replaced them, and to have to wait until the car's counter goes low enough. That surely can't be it?!

I just had all front and rear discs and pads changed today but I cannot get the service indicator to reset, not via the OBC, Carly, or ProTool. Everything fails to reset. I've followed all the instructions above and it won't do it. Any help would be great!
