Retrofitting folding mirrors to E86

This follows on from the “quick one” thread elsewhere but is more specific so it can be understood. I have a 2007 build Z4MC. It has standard (bad spec) non-electrically folding mirrors. I want to fit electric ones like Stu is selling on the forum. Current advice from enuffzed is that there are no loom connections in place on post 2004 models (which don’t already have power mirrors) to allow a simple retrofit. He’s fairly sure but suggested I continue to ask around. Any definitive advice please? Thanks

My 2007 roadster was built without folding mirrors. It did not have the wiring in the loom for a simple retrofit. I very much suspect your MC doesn't too.
