Rock Chip Question

Here is my dilemma... Black car. Teeny tiny rock chips. What do you do about waxing? The wax makes the rock chips look like someone ashed their cigarette on the hood. Is there any way to avoid this and/or get rid of the white marks that the wax leaves behind? Thanks in advance. :)

On a side note, I noticed my front bumper has a lot of teeny nicks as well. Better to just get the whole bumper repainted or touch up paint?

The results from this will beat what you have now: http://www.langka.com/chip-scratch-repair-c-21.html

Oh i failed to mention that i'm strongly thinking of getting the aero bumber instead of just painting.

Veruca,

After waxing the car take some quick detailer and go over the area. This should remove most of the dry wax that would be in the chip area. Micro fiber towels are your friend.

OMG - i've been so swamped with work I can hardly think straight. I wake up at 7, drive to starbuck's in my pajamas, come home, sit in front of the computer until 8 at night and somehow there is no end in sight. Not to mention, I had to drop everything to go to FL for thanksgiving. I tried talking Phil into turning the car around the whole 2 hours it took us to get out of Atlanta. I can't believe I have 3 pages of new posts.

As for the baby, bless her little throttle body, I haven't been able to do anything because of this stupid drought. It was raining on my Monday trip to Starbuck's so now she needs a wash. I dread the coin wash. I wish I could have spent thanksgiving cleaning her like AlanL.

Sorry to hear life is so busy for you atm. Welcome back though. Much chaos has ensued in your absence. Get any odd looks for driving to starbuck's in your pj's?
