Hi everyone


What are peoples top tips for cleaning and protecting a soft top? 2004 3.0, roof is good but needs a good clean, never had a soft top car before so and have no products bought to clean it yet

any reccomendations of products would be great also
 
Milton s sterilising tablets from Tesco’s et al :thumbsup:

Hoover the roof first, get a nail brush and fling a couple of Milton tablets in half a bucket of warm water. Scrub the roof and give it a good rinse!

Okay brilliant. Is there anything to restore it to the black as it looks a bit grey than should be?

Also is there any sealant or protection you can put on after you have cleaned it as above ?
 
I used GTecniq Fabric Guard and it did a good job

I also used 303 Sealant and in my view had a better run off than the GTecniq stuff (this was on my old VX220 roof)
