Software Update Affected my Car Radio

I'm in the U.S. and I recently performed the BMW system update on my 2024 Z4 M40i.

Two problems occurred:
All SiriusXM stations above 311 are no longer available
I cannot associate my Spotify account with my car (it won't let me log in)

1. I got hold of SiriusXM and they refreshed the signal.
2. I held down the radio power button and the BMW system reset itself.
3. I went into Car>Settings>General Settings>Data Privacy>Individual Selection>Configure Services and deselected "SiriusXM Online Community," checked to verify that change did something to the SiriusXM stations (it did), and then reselected "SiriusXM Online Community" and verified that I could see all stations (I can)

I still do not receive SiriusXM stations above 311

Then, I tried to login to Spotify in my car (I hadn't previously). The system is in a loop where it shows a QR code and then when I use it to associate the radio with my account, it flashes a new QR code with a new passcode. A loop.

I suspect the most recent BMW software update broke my ability to receive all of my SiriusXM stations and stopped Spotify from registering.

Anyone else with these kinds of issues?

Do you not use carplay/android auto?

Spotify should not require a login if using either as coming directly from your phone, I assume it works fine on your phone?

I don't ordinarily use Android Auto. Spotify is installed in the car and worked until the BMW software update.

Yes, Spotify works off the BMW software but you have to sign in, With carplay/AA it works without signing in.

After reading an old article someone wrote about the same issue on a previous software update that advised waiting a couple of days, I now have all of the SiriusXM stations and I can use Spotify. Seems like waiting did the trick.
