Hi, having owned this for coming up to 9 years, I've decided to sell my 23i automatic. Its been garaged all the time I've owned it (I know the previous owner kept it garaged also) and regularly serviced, always by my local BMW dealership except the last one where I took it to a specialist that was recommended to me. In the time that I've owned it, the only problems I've had were the two rear springs and recently a broken adjuster for the headlights (£12.50). Its got iDrive with the latest maps, pdc, heated unmarked sports seats, wind deflector, genuine BMW rubber mats and a wethertech boot liner and I replaced the steering wheel for an Msport one as I preferred the paddles and had it recovered by Royal Steering Wheels to my specification. Flew through its MOT at the end of last month and was serviced just before it went away for the winter. I'll be sorry to see her go but the replacement is arriving soon (plates aren't staying on it), had her out yesterday for the Z4 breakfast meet in Stirling. Its on Autotrader at £8995: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202403187703280

Looks nice GLWTS - what's the replacement?
Thanks, it's been a great reliable car, the replacement.... G29 30i Z4! Haven't seen it yet (only in pictures etc.) arriving this week on a transporter. Took one out on a test drive a couple of weeks ago, felt very familiar and quick, unfortunately that one didn't have enough toys.

Hopefully I'll find the right new owner for the E89, its in fantastic condition for its age and I've never scrimped on it's ownership, its always been serviced by the same main dealer (they originally sold it) , I would keep it, but that would defo put the missus over the edge (haven't told her it's new friend is coming to stay this week :telloff: )

Another one of those very rare beasts....a true 'forum car' which has been owned and pampered by an enthusiast.

Might be worth mentioning that it has face lift side indicators and upgraded modern kidney grilles aswell.

GLWTS matey.

That looks like a real bargain. You could spend a long time trying to find an example like this. GLWTS.

Where are you based? Is that chatelherault Park that the pics were taken?

I've really been toying with the idea of getting back into a zed, and this looks tip top.

Andy.

FWIW, I've seen this car in the flesh on numerous occasions. It's a cracker. With the low miles, service history and zedbarons tlc, it's a great car at a great price. GLWTS.

Cheers Pondrew  , it must of been one of the first cars with retro fitted face lift indicators, the previous owner had bought them - I have the receipt from a BMW dealership in Berlin, they were that rare then! The car originally rolled out the factory on 296's, the previous owner bought a new set of 326M's and stuck PZero's on them, they have never had runflats fitted. I have a box with the original grilles and a 'whip' aerial! Its been a great car and its allowed me to meet some nice people along the way

Thanks for the endorsement Stuart, I'll let you know how I get on with the new one... only 3 sleeps now :driving:

That is a beautiful car at a very fair price. Can I ask where you got the radiator grill from? I'm considering that change myself. Thanks.
