The April 2025 Photo Competition - Comments

Sean wins! Having taxed our Z4 ready for summer - got its MoT on Monday - I thought I’d get her out and give her a good run, find somewhere to get a picture and upload an entry for April. Came back yesterday from a trip to Japan and saw the beginning of the cherry blossom. Sean’s picture of his Z4 framed by the torii gate and the blossom is beautiful and a reminder of where we’ve just been blessed to be. It was wet Tuesday in Tokyo - when we transferred through - but that had been the only wet weather in 10 days. Sean, you’re getting my vote. Can’t believe we didn’t see you! 😉

I was hoping to get some more cherry blossom photos in on this Sunday (6'th) , but, we have had heavy rain and wind the past couple of days and the blossoms are mostly gone now! 😭💦
Please do submit a photo this month, as I love seeing everyone's photos!

Just the best time thanks Sean. We were blessed with some excellent weather and now home in the UK it’s sunny here too! Noticing the blossom more here now; spend too much time ignoring the beauty that surrounds us daily. Anyway, won’t put loads of gush here about our holiday or indeed fill it up with countless pics - altho I do have near 100 pics of Kei cars, Toyota Crown taxis and some classic cars of varying ages. Hoping to get another article into Classic.Retro.Modern magazine… now, best I get our Z4 out and find somewhere glorious to snap it whilst this sun shines

Sean, for fear of (more) embarrassment I’m not submitting to the competition this month as you’ve got this in the bag. I’ve posted some new pics elsewhere and may add one for judging by my peers in May 😉😎
