Trunk (Boot) Light

So the original trunk light in the Z4 is pretty anemic and even after replacing the bulb with a very bright LED it still did a poor job of lighting up the space. So I installed an LED light strip and tied into the existing light so that it works when you open the lid. It lights it up now!

That looks really effective. I replaced my hi-tail boot brake light two years ago with a unit which I bought from China for about £24. Still works and hasn't yet split down the middle like the old one did. I kept the array of LEDs from the old brake light so I think I might rig them up to do the same job.

Could I ask where you got the strip from? I'm trying to work out which ones I can wire in easily. Cheers
Ebay. The brand is iJDMtoy Automotive

I just got a strip from ebay and wired it into the existing boot light. Simples.
