Ugly or what

Parked opposite an ix the other day and thought WTF that thing is ugly, I know beauty is the n the eye of the beholder, but seriously does anyone here like them.
I took a photo as I got out of mine, but it really doesn’t do it justice, it looks much worse in the flesh.
Sorry if anyone here has one, just my opinion.

That's just stupid especially as the number plate is stuck right in the middle.
What were BMW thinking ?

As you say, ugly. It's hard to imagine what went round the design meeting when they made this thing up. These can't be the same people that made the E89, IMO one of the best looking cars ever. I've had shoe boxes with more style and glamour than that thing. :headbang:
 
The front is ugly for sure but I have now seen two of these and I am ok with it. The black one I saw actually looked pretty good, black hides most of that front. :D
 
It's got folding mirrors. That would be an extra! :D

So is that thing all electric? Presume so as there's no gaps behind the hideously big kidney grilles. I don't understand why manufacturers are making EVs that look like ICE cars. The gopping great grilles are there for no purpose. They look hideous on an ICE car, but at least serve a purpose.

Just looked it up...starting from £77,250. F**k off, I've bought houses for less. :o
 
Think BMW design team had a very off day when they came up with this ugly brute :thumbsdown:

God knows how much they cost to run.
 
That looks like it should have a padlock on the front, felt on the roof and a couple of spades hanging up inside.

Hey, I'm doing my bit for the environment and helping the German economy. I've got 6 months to fiddle the 'leccy to help with charging!

I went for the 50i version, 523hp of washing machine motor. 0-60 in 4.6 seconds and full power for 45 seconds before it needs a 3 pin socket.
