What does the code 2E83 mean? I pulled up a scanner and had this BMW OEM Enhanced mode and got this code up. How bad is it? Recently changed my flange coolant plug due to a leak and had a small overheat on my car. I did a fast procedure to let the air out of my coolant system. I haven’t seen it overheat but this code popped up. Any solutions?

A quick Google says air in the system. There's a proper automatic bleed procedure you need to follow to purge the air properly (I forget off the top of my head.)

Should I bleed it again? I’ve heard another person saying I should replace my water pump since my engine overheated once.

The water pump throws error codes when it's faulty. It usually starts with a Comms Error one.

If you haven't done the automatic bleed procedure then all bets are off.

If the pump is original it probably needs changing along with the thermostat, if you can lift the front of the car up on wheel ramps it’s an easy DIY replacement, a Pierburg replacement kit costs around £250.
Google BMW cooling system bleed process it runs the water pump with the engine off.
